NYC Police Begin Use of Assualt Rifle To Fight Terrorism


Does this look like the police or the military?!


This evening, I just happened to be watching a moment of the New York City news on WKTV channel 2, where the on-air news reader spoke about how the Barrett 50mm assualt rifle was given the go ahead for the New York City police department to fight terrorism.

These rifles were identified as Barrett 50mm, and would be used in conjunction with the helicopter patrols that are going on around the shoreline.

I have included photos of a couple of different models, and this is simply because the news report did not specify what model was purchased.

Of course, the actual report does not appear on their website.
