U.S. Senate Blocks Patriot Act Extension
Bush plan to extend unconstitutional Patriot Act defeated in Senate on Friday
We have successfully defeated the extension of the Patriot Act, which is a huge blow to the Bush Crime Family, and is further proof of the LAME DUCK status of Junior's 'Residency. Of course, in the AP article below, there is talk about how Bush is very upset about this defeat, and he will more than likely lash out at who he sees as his "enemies," as frequently reported upon by Doug Thompson at the great Capitol Hill Blue website.
This is a crushing blow to the Bush White House, who thought that passage of this Patriot Act extension was a forgone conclusion.
I would invite all my readers to write their members of the House and Senate, and even the White House itself; which I had done when the outrageous "godamned piece of paper" quote was leaked from a high-level White House staff meeting, and reported upon by many websites across the Internet, including The Kentroversy Papers.
In our Constitutional Republic (NOT a democracy!!), it is the responsibility of every citizen to participate in our government, which is why I write letters on a regular and continuing basis. Just these people knowing they are being watched is enough to prevent further terrorist strikes in this country. Anyone who does proper research eventually comes to realize that people like Mohammed Atta, Saddam Hussein, and even going back to Lee Harvey Oswald and Jack Ruby, these people were all in some way connected with our own government's intelligence community.
So, when you hear about Al-CIAaeda threatening a terror attack, please realize that this is being done on purpose to create a STRAW MAN enemy; an enemy that would not be there if it weren't for the Neo-Nazi-Con belief that "There is no profit in peace." And these matters ALWAYS involve the same corporate players --- companies like Haliburton, Bechtel, Carlyle Group, and the complete players of the military-industrial complex.
Of course, Bush is going to paint this defeat as making AmeriKa more vulnerable to terror attacks in the future. However, now that tens of millions of Americans are waking up en masse, there is a much greater risk to bringing future attacks to fruition, as it will have been pitifully obvious as whom was behind the attack ...
... Al-CIAaeda ....
Bush Raps Senators on Blocking Patriot Act

WASHINGTON - President Bush said Saturday that senators who are blocking renewal of the terrorism-fighting Patriot Act are acting irresponsibly and standing in the way of protecting the country from attack. President Bush said Saturday that senators who are blocking renewal of the terrorism-fighting Patriot Act are acting irresponsibly and standing in the way of protecting the country from attack.
"In the war on terror, we cannot afford to be without this law for a single moment," the president said in a live broadcast from the White House of his weekly radio address.
Senate Democrats, with the aid of a handful of Republicans, succeeded Friday in stalling the bill already approved by the House. The vote to advance the measure, 52-47, fell eight votes shy of the 60 votes required to end debate.
"That decision is irresponsible and it endangers the lives of our citizens. The senators who are filibustering must stop their delaying tactics and the Senate must reauthorize the Patriot Act," Bush said.
Opponents of renewing the law, most of whom are Democrats, argue that it threatens constitutional liberties at home.
Most Republicans and other supporters say the act is essential for protecting the country against terrorists. The law was enacted in the aftermath of the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.
