An Important Message From Kentroversy

Please read the following message to learn what happened to me during the past few weeks, and WHY there haven't been any updates to either of my two websites, or my podcast.


AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM KENTROVERSY

On Friday, August 10, 2007 I was rushed to the hospital by ambulance — I had a severe Hepatitis attack which saw my heart rate well over 170/140 — which also caused chest pains and shortness of breath. Because of these Liver problems, I had also begun to accumulate excess waste fluids in my abdomen and legs. When they tapped my abdomen, they withdrew a full TEN LITERS of fluid from my body! I had so much garbage fluid in my system, that it also gave me pneumonia.

By the time I made it up to my private room, several people from Hospice were sent in to see me. My doctors felt that I might die right then, but, I knew better and I sent them away. I never felt like I was going to die, and I knew I would be okay. Things would just be a bit shitty for awhile first!

I was in the hospital for a full week, and the swelling in my legs caused serious internal hemorrhaging — basically my legs from my knees down to the tips of my toes were one large wraparound bruise on each leg! This hurt like nothing I had ever experienced before — it was a burning, stinging, throbbing ‘bruise brush-burn’ type of pain, that was completely off the chart!

When I came home on August 17, 2007 — I consigned myself to bed rest. I needed to keep my legs elevated until I could simmer down this pain in my legs — which required twice per day infusions of clotting factor. This was done twice per day to 100% of normal clotting response and this is because the half-life of this clotting component of the blood has a twelve hour half-life.

I am feeling much better now, but I have not been able to keep up my research-journalism duties — because I needed to concentrate on getting healthy again. The good news is that my medical team and my friends and family have all commented on how much better I am sounding and looking these days. The swelling has gone down in my legs and abdomen — and I am feeling much better.

I am eating lots of fresh fruit, organic foods, and flushing my body with the vitamins I need most.

I have learned quite a bit this month — for instance — Hepatitis is nothing to fuck around with. It is a serious disease with serious ramifications. I am still here, I believe, because my voice is needed right now. I am getting ready to get back to work, and after this much needed rest — I am looking forward to bringing you the best of what I am most capable — a unique, unfiltered perspective on today’s most important events.

I am working on my next couple of written articles, and my next podcast episode — which I am expecting to publish shortly after the beginning of September ...
