The Intentions of Harry Potter Author?
Why are the HARRY POTTER books hypnotizing so many of our chldren?
NOTE: The title of the seventh HARRY POTTER book was announced on December 21, 2006 -- the date of the Winter Solstice, an important date in the occult world. The title of the book is HARRY POTTER and the DEATHLY HALLOWS, which will be released on July 21, 2007.
Also, the June 15, 2007 issue of Entertainment Weekly (pg. 10) had featured an article about the new HARRY POTTER THEME PARK that is being built in Florida USA. It will be called THE WIZARDING WORLD OF HARRY POTTER, and will be used to further indoctrinate children into the occult concepts put forth by Joanne Rowling in these books.
The media hoopla for the sixth HARRY POTTER book, entitled HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE has reached a fever-pitch, with the book going on sale at one minute after midnight on Saturday, July 16, 2005. I have no idea what author JK Rowling intended to do with her books, however, there is a very deep series of COINCIDENCES in the names of some of the characters, the places and situations that are discussed in these books --- which happen to all be in some way or another related to the occult.
Check out some of the ANTI-HARRY POTTER websites out there that are run by concerned Christians. For the record, I am NOT a Christian! As I say many times in response to the reader diatribes below, I have no problem whatsoever with any adult who so chooses to walk the occult path.
However, when children are being conditioned and manipulated right under the noses of their parents, who falsely believe Harry Potter to be nothing more than fantasy, I have a BIG PROBLEM with this, as this usurps parental authority on a very important issue. I am not the one who thought of this OCCULT ISSUE first, however, after a certain point I stopped believing that things were merely a coincidence.
One thing is certain however --- there is a series of coincidences that cannot be explained away as simply being "nothing to worry about."
What do you, the reader, think about the following?
01) In the past decade, there have been an explosion of television shows related to the occult and witchcraft, including; Angel, Charmed, Sabrina The Teenage Witch, and Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Certainly, we adults can tell that this is fiction and good storytelling. But, can a ten year old child who has fallen under the influence of these shows --- differentiate between FICTION AND REALITY?
Leading psychologists say no, they cannot tell the difference.
02) The HARRY POTTER book series has given rise to an Internet book club called the MAGIC CIRCLE YOUNG MAGICIANS CLUB. Their membership has grown with the release of each succeeding book in the HARRY POTTER series.
03) In May 2002, the American Booksellers Association announced that HARRY POTTER has been responsible for 11% of all books sold in the ENTIRE WORLD in 2001. In July 2005, it has been said that 270 MILLION copies of the first five HARRY POTTER books have been sold worldwide.
04) Over 50% of all children ages 6 to 17 have reported reading at least one HARRY POTTER book. This same group of children has reported reading each book between five and ten times each!
05) HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX went on sale worldwide on June 21, 2003 at precisely MIDNIGHT. This was also the exact time and date of the SUMMER SOLSTICE, which is one of the major occult ritual dates of each calendar year.
06) On page 47 of HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX --- a character named ELIPHAS DODGE appears. This is a very bizarre name for a character in a children's book. This is because it shares the same name with infamous occult black magician ELIPHAS LEVI --- who lived from 1810 to 1875. By the way, ALEISTER CROWLEY believed that he himself was the reincarnation of ELIPHAS LEVI --- as Crowley was born very soon after the death of the black magician.
ELIPHAS LEVI himself had the following to say about what he considered to be the central goals of BLACK MAGIC:
"To deceive the people for the purpose of exploiting them, to enslave them and delay their progress, or prevent it even if possible, such is the crime of black magic."
--- Occult Theocracy by Edith Starr Miller - pg. 117
Why is JK ROWLING naming one of her characters after a notorious black magician of the 1800's?
07) On page 306 of HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX --- a woman named Delores Umbridge replaced ALBUS DUMBLEDORE as the newly appointed HIGH INQUISITOR of HOGWARTS, promising an "unprecendented level of control."
In the occult practice called GEOMANCY, one of the words used to describe this practice is the specific word ALBUS. Geomancy is an occult divination practice which uses specific geographic lines and features of our planet in it's practice.
Rowling's use of ALBUS and ELPHIAS as character names is just a coincidence, and there is nothing to worry about, correct?
08) In the book THE SCIENCE OF HARRY POTTER: How Magic Really Works, on page 310, JK ROWLING is described in the glossary in the following manner:
"Witch who is able to cast enchanting literary spells."
This book confirms what I had suspected all along --- that JK ROWLING is a witch.
For her to know about the occult on such a deep level that she is able to explain it in simple terms that a child can understand --- in my own mind --- rules out coincidence. She knows and presents such a persistent world-view of magic and the occult, that it makes logical sense that she understands it on a very deep level. Explaining things as complicated as this to children would be impossible for anyone who had no background in the occult.
09) Of the four houses of HOGWARTS, Slytherin is interesting insofar as it features reptilian imagery. The students that attended this school are described as sly, power-hungry, and ambitious. It also states that Slytherin has turned out the most dark wizards and witches than those of any other house. They were the dishonest ones, and in the HARRY POTTER universe, this would have been where the power-mad despots and tyrants would have been schooled.
10) In HARRY POTTER, the MALFOYS were described as having prided themselves in being purebloods --- those in the occult and in the ILLUMINATI also are obsessed with maintaining their BLOODLINE.
11) The new book, which is to be released on July 16, 2005 is entitled HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE, and this sounds like it is going to be related to bloodline matters, with which these people are absolutely OBSESSED --- the maintenence of the purity of their BLOODLINE.
However, in the book and film HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX, the character Bellatrix Lestrange is obsessed with maintenence of her bloodline, and Helena Bonham Carter, who is playing this character in the film adaption, says about the following about the character in the June 1, 2007 issue of Entertainment Weekly (pg. 10):
"She's a sadist. And a racist, obsessed with blood purity, like Adolph Hitler."
12) In the book THE SCIENCE OF HARRY POTTER: How Magic Really Works, the author Roger Highfield makes the repeated statements that ordinary humans (MUGGLES) are of diminished mental capacity. Over and over again, he makes the suggestion that it is BAD to be an ordinary human being, and it is PREFERRED to be a magician or witch.
13) Harry Potter, the boy, receives THE MARK on his forehead, after he defeats the evil character who sacrificed his parents. This is the very same mark that is spoken of in the biblical book of REVELATION --- 13:16 & 13:17, 14:9, 14:11, 15:1, 16:1, 19:20 and 20:4.
14) HARRY POTTER uses an owl called HEDWIG. Owls are one of the animals used as familiars by witches and black magicians.
15) Rule # 1 in the world of Harry Potter is IT IS BAD TO BE ORDINARY (MUGGLE). Incidentally, MUGGLE is an old-time slang for marijuana cigarettes. Just watch the old propaganda film REEFER MADNESS, as in that film the marijuana smoked are called MUGGLES.
16) The ORIGINAL TITLE of the first Harry Potter book was:
HARRY POTTER AND THE PHILOSOPHER'S STONE
The Philosopher's Stone is a much sought-after item in the occult and black-magic world. Incidentially, this book is still called this in Britain, but was renamed in its' USA edition.
17) The third floor of HOGWART'S is forbidden to all EXCEPT those who are selected to have this knowledge and access. This is yet another coincidence, as it fits in perfectly with the symbolism and practices of many of the world's SECRET SOCIETIES. A person has to be selected by the members of the inner-sanctum to have access to these upper levels of knowledge.
18) In the first HARRY POTTER film --- the following was sung at the Christmas Pageant:
"Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas, ring the Hogwart Bell, Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas, cast a Christmas spell."
19) In the films, there are a lot of spells and potions mentioned --- three of them are actually REAL SUBSTANCES --- WORMWOOD --- WOLFSBANE --- and MONK'S WOOD.
20) In the first HARRY POTTER film, FLUFFY, a three-headed Hound of Hell is shown. This matches the true-life mythological character named CEREBRUS.
21) Toward the end of the first HARRY POTTER film, a four-pillar torch is shown with the owl MOLOCH atop each of the pillars. A child himself, Harry is nearly sacrificed to MOLOCH, just as children were in real life in centuries past.
Incidentially, MOLOCH is the figure represented by a 40-foot tall stone owl at BOHEMIAN GROVE --- where the annual occult ritual called CREMATION OF CARE is performed.
22) As part of the DVD for the second HARRY POTTER film, there is a SPELL CASTING QUIZ. This is aimed at children.
I could go on and on, but I think TWENTY-TWO EXAMPLES is more than enough to make my point.
But of course, this is all a big coincidence, and the children of this world have NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT, right?
Well then, let me finish with the words of DAVID SPANGLER, who is one of the people working with the UN and UNESCO to teach the children of the world:
"No one will enter the NEW WORLD ORDER unless he or she will make a pledge to worship LUCIFER. No one will enter the NEW AGE unless he will take a LUCIFERIAN INITIATION."
--- David Spangler, Director of the United Nations Planetary Initiative (1991)
I don't know about you --- but this causes some deep concern. As a parent of a young child --- I would want to err on the side of the safety of my child --- and not continue to live in denial that this is indeed happening --- the Satanic infiltration of society and proliferation of EVIL.
LUCIFER is one of the principal objects of worship by the NEW WORLD ORDER. Freemasonic documents in my own possession identify the GREAT LUCIFER alternately as the LIGHT-BEARER and the TRUE HOLY-SPIRIT, as well as the SPIRIT OF INTELLIGENCE AND LOVE. LUCIFER and his ILLUMINATED KNOWLEDGE are referred to by occultists as the THOUSAND POINTS OF LIGHT.
Now, tell me . . .
Where have we heard about the THOUSAND POINTS OF LIGHT before?

Kent - I don't understand why you think of these as coincidences. Any writer worth their salt would do a little research (even if they hadn't got some relevant stuff in their head to make them tackle a certain subject in the first place).
If Terry Pratchett got stuck for names he might well flip open a book on "Magic and Witchcraft" and pick out good looking names like Eliphas. I specifically mentioned Cerberus just last week on another blog, without even knowing much Greek mythology BEYOND that he guards a threshold and has three heads.
I don't see how you go from picking up clues like that, to finding a serious magickal intent behind the book. Although I must admit she has become so rich and famous that perhaps it looks unusual. Perhaps W.B.Yeats used magick, too, and got rich and famous for his poetry and plays through that, not just luck and talent.
I would call this 'very interesting but not proven'. But then again, I haven't read the books...(I just saw one of the films). It seems like old-fashioned hokum to me.
bogusmagus:
An adult who decides that a life in occult practice is one thing, as the adult has full reasoning ability. However, when 5-12 year-old children are being subjected to this, it is something else entirely.
I have not read the books, beyond my research. I have someone who is "into" Harry Potter who flls me in on details of the stories and the plots therein.
I stopped at 22 examples of occultism within Harry Potter, but I could have gone on to a much higher number. I felt that 22 was a pretty good number at which to stop.
As both a child and an adult, I have always loved to read, and I have a huge library in my home. However, I do not read the same book five to ten times within the short span of a couple years, as has been reported by parents who children are obsessed with all things Harry Potter.
If Harry Potter encourages children to read, that is one thing. However, if Harry Potter encourages children to read nothing but Harry Potter, then that is something else entirely.
My mention of the word coincidence in this instance was merely meant to address what I have been told by my friends whose children are obsessed with Harry Potter. THEY tell ME that it is all a coincidence that there are so many instances of real-life occult references in the books.
Hmmmmm, I have to say that I agree with Zooey and the writer above. I'm an adult who has read four of the Harry Potter books, and though it's been a few years since I read them, I very well remember that the books represented values of compassion, kindness, tolerance of differences in others, loyalty to friends, the value of creative thought, of thinking for oneself, belief in oneself, and looking beneath the surface of things to determine the TRUTH for oneself. (Ring some bells, Mr. Blogger?) "Muggles" I feel, is a metaphor for humans lacking in imagination and creativity. Notice the common root: imagination......magic......As humans, we all have a bit of the MAGI within us...evidenced by the fact that a young welfare mother can marshall her own internal resources and create a phenomenon like Harry Potter, evidenced by the fact that a truth seeker like yourself can create words in space that people worlds apart can read and ponder. In another age, YOU would be considered the WITCH and burned at the stake for spouting truth. WITCH, by the way, is nothing more than a word which originally meant WISE. I suppose if we really set ourselves to the task, we could uncover all kinds of heinous occult happenings in Winnie the Pooh, or in the Dr. Seuss books. Or we could take a deep breath and laugh and realize and accept all the wondrous permutations of human creation.
Hello,
I read your article and the ensuing comments with a great deal of interest. I found the comments a lot more thought provoking than your article, but that's only because I reached similar conclusions about the books myself.
I wouldn't necessarily agree with all your conclusions about the author or the overall intent of the books, but oh there is definitely something a little fishy about the Harry Potter phenomenon to be sure.
I'm looking toward subtle mind control myself and for your commenters to say that it's just a series of books and therefore harmless, particularly as no harm vis a vis kids practising magic, believing they can fly etc etc has been proved, to my mind makes my point for me. My point? That for some reason the books exert a pernicious and far reaching influence on the minds of children and adults alike. I do find it amusing that people who may well be under the influence of mind control are quick to point out just how harmless (and wonderful)the books are. I am far from being an expert in these matters but isn't the effectiveness of mind control predicated on its unlikeliness, on the the fact that one doesn't even see the strings, on the fact that it is so seamless? My motto is always: when many, many people jump on a bandwagon look for the man behind the curtain. Anyone with any discernment whatsoever should look very hard at the Harry Potter phenomenon and start asking very hard questions.
Another aspect of the Harry Potter phenomenon that gives me pause is the way the fans lose all ability to engage their critical faculties, which tends to lead to them taking all criticism of the book or author very, very personally. And note that it's adults I'm talking about here. Adult fans are all I know. I'd even go so far as to wonder out loud if the kids are the ones far less likely to be influenced by the books. They love the books, get involved with the Harry Potter machine but still retain a sense of perspective. The adults not so much.
It does worry me, especially when people like your commenters seem ridiculously unable to see the bigger Harry Potter picture, which, you know for anyone with even a bit of critical capacity still remaining, isn't really that hard to see.
Greetings, Anon:
My wife is OBSESSED with all things HARRY POTTER, which I find to be peculiar, as she is 38 years old. But, it is her choice to read these books. Some of those who have commented on this article do not understand how subtle conditioning can be, and how permanent mind control is to those who are victimized by it.
I do not have much of a problem with adults reading this, as they can make their own informed decisions as to the content of the stories. Children, however, are quite a different matter, as they haven't yet developed their abilities of discernment to make such informed decisions.

Here's what I have to say. I started reading Harry Potter when I was 5 years old. Sure, for a few years I thought magic was real and that I wasn't magic. When I was 8 years old, however, I realized by then that 1)Television was not real, lest it was reality t.v. 2)That magic was a trick, that the books weren't real. There goes your first one.
02)I can safely say that the people in that magicians club know that magic isn't real. They know that magic isn't a real thing, that it is just a trick of the mind.
03)So what if the books are extremely popular?
04)First I can say that most statistics are made up. if that is true, the kids like the books. Don't we want children to read more? If they read the same book over and over again, I believe that it can help with fluency in reading, for often you begin to memorize the books, meaning you know how to say words, how sentences are supposed to be read, etc.
05)If this is some occult date, maybe she has some kind of liking of witchcraft. And chances of coincidents do include this. I do not know much about writing but I think that the date the book comes out is not up to the writer.
06)elphias plays a very small part in the book. I will let you slide on this one, though.
07)you are consulting Harry Potter for being evil, correct? Albus is in no means a black magic term. So this one may be on purpose also.
08)That term is only used as a metaphor, if you will. If her books were scary what might have been wrote was:
Ghostly author with immoral literary skills.
09)That simply divides the good from the evil.
10)Let's let you slide once again just for the hell of it.
11)I've read the book, it has little to do with bloodline, and also, nothing black magic like about it, also just good and evil.
12)Uh...so?
13)Let's let you slide, for I don't know much about those verses, actually, never mind, I'll look them up.
It says forehead or right hand, and I saw nothing about a lightning bolt. And that has nothing to do with Satan if it wasn't a coincedince, for it's in the BIBLE!!! Last time I checked, people who worshiped Satan weren't too fond of the Bible.
14)I suppose I can let you slide on that one.
15)I could let you slide but I have one thing to say.
Mary Jane is also a marijuana term, and Spiderman loves her. Very coincidental.
16)DUH!!! Voldemort, a BLACK MAGICIAN sought after it. Harry didn't, but just tried to keep it away from him, so really, there's nothing bad about it.
17)and your point is...
18)same thing as above ^^
19)I can bet you that she knew those were real substances, at least some of them. What does it have to do with anything bad?
20)Also, the real Cerberus was defeated by music, as was Fluffy in the book. And cerberus was a guarddog, and Fluffy is one as well. This isn't a coincident, it is a thing done on purpose that has little meaning.
21)I'll let you slide.
22)Ooh...evil.
By the way I'm 11 years old. And now let's see, now you have 5 reasons, and most of them don't have much to do with the devil. Why don't you list some more reasons for me to find logical explanations for? Honestly, do you have anything else to do?
Here's one.
Slytherin, Ravenclaw, Potter, Delacour, McGonagall
Take the 1st of Slytherin, 2nd of Ravenclaw, 3rd of Potter, etc.
It spells Satan.
Coincidence.
Greetings, Anonymous:
You say that you are 11 years old. 11 is THE number that relates to magick, which you would have no way of knowing.
I have been a researcher since 1980, and a journalist since I publshed my first article in June 1984. This means that I have been doing this for nearly THREE TIMES longer than you have been alive. I own and maintain a research library that is more than 2,000 books in size. I have an additional DVD reference library as well.
I have been told by those radio and television talk-show hosts whose interviews I have done, that I know what I am talking about, and you can check this out by visiting my Interview Booking Page.
You are a young man, and instead of dismissing what I am saying, why don't you look up the things I am talking about, to see HOW they fit into the HARRY POTTER stories?
I own thousands of books, and reading is very important to me, especially when I was a young man like you. But, with all the books out there that await you, WHY would you or anyone else want to read the same book TEN TIMES over again, in a short time period?
When I was your age, I read THE HOBBIT and THE LORD OF THE RINGS for the first time. Now, at 45, I have probably read those books ten times throughout my life.
But, they were NOT ten times back-to-back.
Lastly, this HARRY POTTER article has been up on my website for quite awhile, and no one has yet found any innaccurate information contained in the article itself.
Thank you for your comments, I appreciate everyones' opinions.

The Harry Potter books have been encouraging children to read. Christians don't like Harry Potter books. What better way to keep people believing in a ridiculous religion than to keep them stupid. The problem isn't witchcraft, it a bunch of christian maniacs who simply must get more followers into their death cult so they can continue to feel good about themselves and their insane beliefs.
Greetings revrollic,
Obviously, I have no problem with children reading. My point in writing this article is to point out that children are NOT able to differentiate for themselves, the possible hidden agenda at work behind-the-scenes here.
While I cannot honestly say that I disagree with your statement about people's reactions to Harry Potter vis-a-vis their Christian religious beliefs -- I am sure that you seem to believe that I am a Christian myself, which I am not.
I have no problem with anyone choosing the Wiccan path, but, a child of the general age group who most often read Harry Potter CANNOT make this decision for themselves, because they are not yet of an age of legal majority.
My son, when he gets to the age where he is reading, will no doubt read Harry Potter, as all six of the books are in the house here. But, he most certainly will NOT be reading these books over and over again, as I will certainly encourage him to read many other things, such as the Lord of the Rings series, and many other books I and his mother have enjoyed when WE were children.
Thank you for your comments, I geatly appreciate them.

I have read harry potter for quite some time. The only reason I came upon this site is, I am doing a report on hercules. Coincidently Hercules and to fight Cerebreus, which is known as Fluffy in the Harry Potter Series. This long list is very influential, and you could say it is just like the harry potter books.
You the writer are trying to draw me into thinking your opinion is correct. In the end thats what most writings are this includes Harry Potter. You say that this is a concern for kids but what is not in the world today. Jk rowling is not a witch she is a writer who struck a good idea. She spend day and night writing her stories and this is why there is a coicidince in her Harry potter books.
I dont mind your opinion and find it very interesting. But there is no harm in reading the harry potter books, niether is there in watching a show about a TEENAGE WITCH and her school DRAMA.
For me harry potter is a cherrished memory. It has given me somthing to occupy myself on long trips, and it has helped greatly to improve my reading skills. Rereading a harry potter book is very comman and it actualy helps young readers improve their skill like I have. When my father first gave me the book, I had never heard of it untill then, I could read about 15 pages in 20 or so minutes. This would mean it took me more than a month to finish the first book. The last book, book 6, took me a day to read. This is a big difference when noticing book 1 was the smallest.
Jk rowling obciously puts time and care into her story's and its readers. For instance the books increase in size to give more each time, and to help readers improve. Her books have also givven kids a reason to read, and make them open to reading more lengthy novels which are fasinating. One book I started reading for instance was Artimes Fowl, a great book indeed.
Harry potter is a great book for the new generation of the reading world. It trully means the world to me. And in no way do I want to become a Dark Wizzard or occult fanatic. If concerned parrents ask there childrens opinions, they will know that there is no harm in reading harry potter.
Greetings, Kiran:
I thank you for your comments, as I enjoy hearing from ALL my readers.
Although in your comment you do not mention your age, by your use of language, spelling, and formation of ideas, you appear to be a rather young person.
I do have a couple of comments on what you wrote:
1) To begin, the data presented is FACT-based, and is NOT merely a product of my opinion, as you claim. My concerns for Harry Potter are based in my wife's obsession with the stories and the books. This is a nearly 40 year-old woman who is herself obsessed with Harry Potter. Also, as I state, psycholgical research has shown that the typical readers of Harry Potter (children, aged 10) CANNOT tell the difference between fiction and reality.
This is WHY children are always targeted for indoctrination into many things that are quite harmful. The Elite (a group to which which Joanne Rowling is a member) have a saying about this:
"Get them while they are young, and keep them for life."
2) I have been researching and reporting on the occult for 27 years now, and during this time, I have come to know this subject very well. Ms. Rowling knows far too much about the occult, which she embeds in her books, for it to be simple coincidence.
I say in my report that Rowling is a witch. According to my research and sources, this IS in fact what she truly is. Also, please keep in mind that this statement has been on my website for nearly two years now, and I have NOT YET received any legal notice to change that statement. If it weren't true, and damaged her reputation in some way, I would find myself receiving notice from her legal team.
But, I cannot receive a 'cease-and-desist' letter for making TRUE STATEMENTS!
The twenty-two examples I gave weren't the only ones I could find. There were many, many more, but, I decided to keep it at a reasonable length and stop where I did. I more than made the point I wanted to make.
Finally, asking a child if they are being harmed by reading Harry Potter books over again ten times each, is a waste of time. They are NOT old enough to make a judgment like that, at least NOT like an adult.
Being a published author and researcher myself, obviously I want to encourage people to read. But, reading Harry Potter over and over and over again is in NO WAY healthy, nor does it make anyone a better reader.
You say that you are NOT interested in the occult, and yet you read the most occult-like children's stories that are available anywhere in today's world. Joanne Rowling is a BILLIONAIRE from Harry Potter, and in our world, NO ONE is allowed this level of success UNLESS they are a practitioner of the occult.
I am sorry if this is NOT what you want to hear, but, I am obligated to share this with you, as Harry Potter is a very sneaky way to introduce occult ideas to children.
Thank you for your comments, just the same.

Dear Kentroversy~
I am writing in regards to your blog about the Harry Potter author, JK Rowling. I am going to comment on each of your 22 points and hopefully shed some light on some other issues as well.
First, before you even start back-lashing a book or a series of books you really should do your homework and read them yourself. There is nothing more annoying, irritating and insulting then an ignorant person trying to write a blog, article or doctorate on a topic they really know nothing about.
Second, here is a list of books and sources that you should also check out (read yourself and not rely on some “friend” to do it for you).
A Parent’s Guide to Harry Potter, by Gina Burkart. InterVarsity Press, 2005. In an explanatory “review” on eBay, the author says that she explains “how Harry Potter fits into the fairy tale genre & how fairy tales often help children release their fears… I show parents that these books aren’t about magic at all; rather they show that magic does not solve problems. It is love that saves and protects Harry.”
Looking for God in Harry Potter, by John Granger. Saltriver, 2006. Written by a Christian father of seven home-school kids, this book won a hard-earned rave review from Publishers Weekly: “This is obviously a painstakeingly researched book. It is easily the best examination to date of the spiritual legacy of ‘the boy of lived.’” A devout Christian, Granger’s thesis is: “I am convinced that the fundamental reason for the astonishing popularity of the Harry Potter novels is their ability to meet a spiritual longing for some experience of the truths of life, love and death taught by Christianity but denied by a secular culture. Human beings are designed for Chrsit, whether they know it or no. That the Haryy Potter stories ‘sing along’ witht eh Great Story of Christ is a significan key to understanding their compelling richness.”
God, the Devil, and Harry Potter: A Christian Minister’s Defense of the Beloved Novels, by John Killinger. New York: St. Martin’s/Griffin, 2004. A defense of the Harry Potter novels written by an Ordained Clergyman who has doctorates in Theology and Literature.
A Charmed Life: The Spirituality of Potterworld, by Francis Bridger. Image Books, 2002. A theologian and principal of Trinity College (Bristol, England) examines the Potter novels in the context of JRR Tolkien’s (Lord to the Rings) and CS Lewis’s (The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe) novels, steeped in Christian faith.
Third, the Winter Solstice is not an important date in the “occult world.” Winter solstice is a celebration in the Wicca holidays as well as other group of peoples and/or religions (examples include but not limited to the Mesopotamians & American Indians).
Before Christianity ever existed a large portion of Europe was of a Wicca belief. Wicca is not what movies or Christians would make us believe it is. Being of the Wicca faith is more like being an environmental activist. They give thanks to the Mother Earth for providing substance, good health and shelter.
Wicca’s do not worship Satan for Wicca’s do not believe in Satan. Now, this is the part where you tell me that Wicca’s do have a deity with horns on his head and hooves for feet. This is true; this deity is known as the Horned God (sometimes referred to as Pan though this is often a misconception as well). The Horned God is not Satan or any form of the devil and is not evil. He is a representation of man, animal and vegetation. He represents all in this world that was needed to survive. Please keep in mind that these beliefs were started thousands of years ago when if you had a bad crop season chances were good that you were not going to make it through the winter, or if you couldn’t kill a deer for food that day you were not going to eat that night. Times were harsh then and people needed to believe in something. It makes more sense to “pray” to a deity that embodies all the things needed to survive then some hippie spreading love and peace.
As for Christians and the Bible saying that being Wicca is bad &/or evil I would also like to point out that the Bible says that being a Pagan is bad. Now Pagan is an interesting word for it means anything that is not Christian. Not being Christian includes Islam, Jewish, Wicca, Buddhism, Jainism, Hindu, Judaism, Sikhism, Taoism, Confucianism, Inca religion, Zoroastrianism, Druidism, Shintoism. That is a lot of religions in my opinion to consider as Pagan or Occult. But then again it amazes me that anyone can be so sure in their faith to believe beyond a doubt that their religion is the “right one.”
Most Christian holidays fall on or very near Pagan holidays. The reason for this is because when Christianity was on the rise in the early days the Christians found it easier to convert Pagans over if the Christians made their holidays on or around the same day as the Pagan holidays. Christmas is very close to the Winter solstice. Halloween a major celebrated holiday originally Pagan that hasn’t been converted to a Christian holiday does have a Christian holiday following the day after, All Saints’ Day. Easter lands very near the Spring solstice. Coincidence! I think not! It’s all a Christian conspiracy to rid the world of non-Christians! Why?! Because every religion that isn’t Christianity is wrong, bad and evil! (Please note that the last few lines were all sarcasm.)
Plus, JK Rowling probably doesn’t have any say as to what date her books are being published and released. Chances are good that it’s actually the Publishers (Bloomsbury and Scholastic) that are deciding these dates and they are more then likely doing it as a publicity stunt.
(01) Questioning whether a child knows the difference between reality and fiction is a long debate that has been going on for centuries. I will be the first to admit that yes sometimes children let their imagination get away with them after reading or seeing something. My sister as a child ruined every umbrella in our home after repeatedly jumping off our deck in the hopes she could fly like Mary Poppins. Yes, I have read the articles about the kids who have jumped off counters or roof tops on broomsticks, but what really needs to be said is this: Bad Parenting. If parents would take more time to spend with their children incidences like these would be much less frequent, if not all together non-existent. To put a stopper in this type of behavior parents need to sit down with their kids, find out what is going on their lives, who their friends are, what they are reading, what they are watching on tv and in movies and explain to their child that certain things just aren’t so. I would also question how many of those “leading” psychologist even have a child of their own.
(02) The Magic Circle Young Magicians Club is a slight of hand/illusion magician’s club not some demonic cult trying to raise the devil. The MCYMC is an organization that teaches young & old alike how to do slight of hand tricks, such as making a quarter appear behind your ear or guessing which playing card you selected or pulling bunny rabbits out of a top hat. There is nothing evil or satanic about doing parlor tricks.
(03) There is nothing demonic about a children’s book becoming a best seller. If anything it’s a miracle. There is finally a book out there that children are more than willing to read. I would rather have a child stand for hours in line to get a book then tickets to a movie.
(04) The fact or even idea that children are reading the same book(s) over and over again is again, a miracle. You may see it as odd, strange and/or evil, but kids often display this type of behavior. How many times have you see, heard or even have a child that wants the same thing for dinner every night? Or wants to watch the same movie over and over again? Or listens to that same annoying song repeatedly? Children will find a favorite in something and want it over and over again without getting bored of it. The fact that’s a worldwide novel that has kids entranced is, yes, extraordinary, but there is nothing wrong with it.
Part of the novels fame is due to its marketing. Another part of its fame is just the fact that they there are well written stories with water tight plots, engaging characters with problems that can be related to real life very easily. Another part of its fame is due to the internet. Just think about how many kids are online chatting away with their friends on the other side of the country let alone on the other side of the world. Look at how fast the “Numa Numa” kid’s video spread. By the end of the week everyone with an internet connection had seen him. Now take a couple of kids that read a good book, they tell their friends who tell their friends and BAM! The book has exploded across the world. Is it the work of Satan? No, not unless you think the internet is the work of Satan, in which case you should shut off your computer right now and find a holy man.
(05) See my statement at the top about the Winter solstice.
(06) The character’s name is Elphias Doge, not Elphias Dodge. Doge was the title of the ruler of Venice from the 8th to 18th Century. "Corno," meaning horn in Italian, was the cap worn by the doge as a symbol, which is mentioned when Mad-Eye Moody shows Harry the photo of the Order: "Elphias Doge, you've met him, I'd forgotten he used to wear that stupid hat."(Order of the Phoenix, pg. 158 UK, pg. 174 US). Also, Magus Elphias Levi was a French occultist of the 19th Century. JK Rowling has done a lot of research for her books. It took her over 5 years just write the first book. She has many characters and as good writer she didn’t want to give her characters bland dull names. Since the story takes place in a fantasy realm having characters with names that match makes since. I’m sure in her long extensive research she probably came along Magus Elphias and thought it would be a clever name to use, end of story. Plus if you want to get even more “weird” about it Elphias is an anagram for Hip Sale, Lash Pie, Hap Isle, I Slap He, He’s Pail & As I Help.
(07) If you were to actually read the novels all the way thru you would know that Delores Umbridge is one of the “bad guys” in the novel. She is one of the people that Harry must try to “defeat” in order to keep other good people safe.
Albus is Latin & it means "white" (maybe for white beard or that white is symbol of good). A variation of Albus is Aldion which is an ancient Arthurian name for Britian. Another variation of Albus is Albinus who was Governor of Britain. Albinus attempted to seize the throne but ended up in alliance with another contender, Severus (another character in the novels). I’m sure I could find other people, places or things with the word Albus in it that are not the works of the devil.
(08) This quote is a metaphor. I believe the eleven year old in this blog said it best, “If her books were scary what might have been wrote was: Ghostly author with immoral literary skills.”
Rowling isn’t in such a deep level of the occult that she is warping our children’s minds. Rowling is a good author who did some research so her novels would sound more authentic and while still remaining in the realm of fantasy. If I was writing a fantasy novel and I needed a odd sounding name I would type into any search engine some key words like wizard, magic, fantasy, etc and see if I could find any names that were really odd and then use them without giving it another thought as to who or what that name belonged to. You really are reading too much into this.
(09) Yes, Slytherin House is where a lot of bad guys come from, but Harry and his friends don’t belong to Slytherin. Harry’s enemies (Crabb, Goyle and Malfoy) reside in the Slytherin House. In the books the Slytherin students are the ones who are obsessed with bloodlines, they are the ones that are racist towards Muggles, and they are ones that are bullies, sly, liars, ambitious, power hungry and so on. Slytherin house is portrayed as the bad guys, the guys that Harry and friends are fighting against. One of the many things that are so wonderful about the Harry Potter novels is that it’s about the Good overcoming the Evil. Harry is Good and Malfoy is Evil.
Harry and his closest friends reside in Gryffindor house. Gryffindor is described as brave at heart, daring (to meet defiantly; face courageously), nerve (firmness or courage under trying circumstances), and chivalry (the sum of the ideal qualifications of a knight, including courtesy, generosity, valor, and dexterity in arms). As you can see Harry Potter and his friends hardly have the ideals of a Satan worshipper.
(10) Yes, the Malfoys are obsessed with pure bloodlines. Harry Potter and his friends are not. Again, since it’s the bad guys that is obsessed with pure bloodlines and not Harry Potter I can’t see how Harry Potter is influencing children to the world of the occult. Harry Potter and his friends strive for diversity and understanding. One of Harry’s closest friends; Hermione is not of a pure blood descent and she is the best student of her class. Another of Harry’s closest friends come from an almost poverty strict family. Harry has another friend that is inflicted with a terrible disease which most other people won’t have anything to do with him, but not Harry. Harry shows compassion and love for anyone who is good at heart regardless of their bloodline, wealth, health, image, color or creed. If anything Harry Potter is showing us some very Christian values that would make Jesus Christ proud.
(11) First off don’t ever assume what a book is going to be about based off its title. Perhaps you never heard the saying, “Don’t judge a book by its cover.” The same goes for the title. Read the book and you’ll soon learn the truth of it.
(12) In all the novels it is never written, said or implied that Muggles are of a diminished mental capacity. Muggles are simply non-magical folks. Harry’s close friend Hermione has Muggle parents. If anything the Good Wizards and Witches in the novels are fascinated with Muggles just as the Muggles (that know of the magic community) are fascinated with Witches and Wizards. It is never written, said or implied that being a Muggle is bad, except by the Bad Guys in the novels (Malfoy, Golye & Crabb). Again we have the bad guys being racists while the good guys (Harry & his friends) are trying to uphold equality.
(13) Harry has a “mark” on his forehead. It’s not so much a “mark” but a scar. A scar he received after the “Dark Lord” tried to kill him. The reason Harry didn’t die though is because his mother and father’s LOVE was protecting him. Love is what saved a one year old baby named Harry. Love is what defeated the Dark Lord that day. If there is an occult out there that claims that Love will conquer all evil then please sign me up, but I think that cult already exists and it’s called Christianity.
(14) Owls are also used to catch rats and mice for that is a staple of their diet. Black cats are also rumored to be familiars for witches and wizards. By your logic anyone owning a black cat must be a witch then too. Your classic slight of hand magician uses doves and bunnies in their acts, they must all be evil & part of an occult, according to this logic of yours. Or this is again just a good writer doing her research to write a believable fantasy world.
(15)Again it is never written, said or implied in the novels that it is bad to be an ordinary person (Muggle) except by the villains in the stories. Incidentally, Muggle comes from English (British) slang. A “mug” is somebody who is easily fooled. This does not imply that being a Muggle means you’re a fool. Thru out the novels the wizards and witches use magic to hide things (buildings such as magical hospital & a house) from non-magical folks.
There is another children’s novel titled Legend of Rah and the Muggles by NK Stouffer. The word Muggles in Stouffer’s book refers to a group of bald, huge-headed, small mutant descendants. Muggles was also used in a 1946 book Raggedy Ann in the Snow White Castle. In Roald Dahl’s novel The Twits there is a family of Monkeys named the Muggle-wumps.
(16) JK Rowling did her homework again. The Philosopher’s Stone is a legendary substance that supposedly could turn lead into gold and/or create an elixir that would make humans younger, thus delaying death. It was a longtime "holy grail" of Western alchemy. Rowling has a villain character (the Dark Lord/Lord Voldemort) that wants eternal life, she did some research and found out that there really was something that people once believed in and used it in her story. In the story it is the hero, the good guy; Harry that stops the Dark Lord from getting his hands on this mythical stone.
(17) The third floor was forbidden to anyone who didn’t want to die a most horrible death. The Headmaster Albus (white & good) didn’t want his students to venture to the third floor for he was trying to keep the Philosopher’s Stone hidden & protected from the evil Lord Voldemort. By telling the students to stay away from the third floor Albus was trying to protect them. It has nothing to do with secret societies. You are reading too much into this.
(18) Rowling wrote something that rhymed. It must be the work of the occult! Come on now, your just getting silly with your “proof.” What rhymes with Bell…. Spell maybe? Plus this is a book about a fantasy world with witches and wizards in it so of course they are going to cast spells. This is a children’s novel and children like rhymes. I mean who doesn’t? They are fun to say.
Christmas as most of us know is a Christian holiday. It’s THEE Christian holiday, it’s the day that Jesus Christ was born; the guy to save all us sinners. So if we break this line down to the bones we get “Happy Birthday Jesus, Happy Birthday Jesus, ring the school’s bell, Happy Birthday Jesus, Happy Birthday Jesus, let’s pray to Jesus.” Spell in the Occult world is the same as Prayer in the Christian world. Christians pray to God and Jesus, the Occult cast spells. The only difference is the deity. But this song/rhyme is obviously about Jesus so they must be praying to him.
(19) I get more and more impressed with how much research Rowling did in order to write her novels. Yes, wormwood wolfs bane and monk’s wood (monkshood) are real substances. They are herbs, plants that grow in the real world. In Japan and China monkshood (when prepared correctly) was once used to make poison for hunting bears and warfare. Wormwood when properly prepared can be used as a remedy for indigestion. Wolfs bane when properly prepared can ease the pain of arthritis. In an interview with Rowling she stated that a friend gave her an herbs book and Rowling used this book to research some good fantasy like names. Again, there is no relationship between herbs and the occult here, just a writer doing some research. Herbs have been in use for millions of years to cure all sorts of ailments. Where do you think our modern doctors originally came from?
(20) Fluffy the three headed dog is an image of Cerberus who is not a Hell Hound in the sense that you seem to be implying. Cerberus is from Greek mythology and whose purpose was to act as a guard dog to the entrance to the lower world (Hades). Since Fluffy is from Greek mythology Fluffy most certainly is not part of the occult. Fluffy is from the ancient Greek religion who do not worship Satan. (Of course, since they did not worship Christ that would make them Pagans.)
(21) I am confused by this statement of yours. I’ll have to re-watch the first film to see this torch you are talking about. Either way though I still can’t understand what you are trying to state. Harry wasn’t sacrificed to anyone or anything. Harry is the good guy in the story and he’s not sacrificing anyone or anything unless it’s himself for the good and safety of his friends (much like Jesus). Lord Voldemort (the Dark Lord) was trying to kill Harry because of a prophecy saying that Harry was going to kill him instead and Lord Voldemort wants to live forever, kill all the Muggles and rule the world. So Harry stopping Lord Voldemort sounds like a story of Good versus Evil to me. Where Harry is the Christ destined to be good, loving and triumph over evil.
(22) Marketing and good designing says that if you are going to include a game for children about a movie that it should be a game related to the movie. I seriously doubt Rowling had any say or knowledge about the small extra added onto the DVD. This would put all the blame on Warner Brothers for this one. I guess everyone working for WB must be in the occult.
Let’s face it buddy. You are a looney. You have delved way too steeply into something that just isn’t there. You have made connections to things that are so far fetch and out there that you must be completely whacked.
P.S.
“11 being THE number that relates to magic”? Now out of all the research I have done on the occult, witchcraft, wizardry & religions all together I have never come across any significance in the number 11. The numbers 3, 9, 69 and of course 666 seem to be THE numbers. But if we are going to get into a debate about weird, magical, occult numbers perhaps you should read or watch the movie The Number 23. Anyone can make any number into something that it’s not.
Plus, I don’t appreciate the way you talked down to the eleven year old in your reply. I thought you were rude and condescending. The eleven year old never stated that they were male, but you assumed so in your reply by referring to him/her as a “young man.” This alone is very closed minded as well as sexiest of you. Another thing, just because you have shelves of books doesn’t make you an intellect & above everyone else, which is how you sounded in your statement.
~Candace
Greetings Candace:
Thank you for your extensive comments. First of all, most of what you say does not apply to what I actually wrote. Nowhere in my article do I mention Satan or Satanists.
Secondly, I do not need to be lectured by someone who has no idea what they are talking about when it comes to me and my writing. I have been a full-time researcher since 1980, which is twenty-seven years ago. I have more than 2,000 books in my own library, and over 250,000 pages of research material in my archives.
Your comments are largely uninformed, which is completely understandable and forgivable, as you are a young person, who is likely much younger than even the time I have spent as a researcher.
Your comments such as "the Winter Solstice is NOT an important date in the occult world" is pure nonsense. Five minutes of research on the Internet will show this to be the truth as I say it is. I have studied and researched the occult on a very deep level, and I am told that my level of knowledge on such matters is expert.
One thing is sure, though. With this article, I have struck a nerve with the fans of HARRY POTTER, who seem to be very defensive and accept no criticism of their hero.
You can write a thousand page rebuttal to what I say, and that will never change the truth for what it is -- Harry Potter IS being used to indoctrinate children into the occult -- you yourself are partial to Wicca it sounds like, by what you say -- and this is being done UNDER the noses of their parents, who think they are only cute fantasy stories.
Joanne Rowling is herself an occultist, and this is clear by my having read these books for myself (you are wrong about THIS as well). She is the very first author to have become a BILLIONAIRE from writing these books, which is her reward for service to the GREAT WORK.
HARRY POTTER is the ONLY series of books that I know of, where children are reading them over ten times each. This is NOT normal, and it does NOT foster reading as a hobby. It helps the kids to read more HARRY POTTER -- but not other books -- and the American Booksellers Association figures and statistics back up this statement.
Perhaps the most DANGEROUS aspect of the HARRY POTTER brainwashing is the FACT that psychologists say that a typical ten year old child CANNOT tell the difference between reality and flights of fancy, as in HARRY POTTER.
That this is being done without the parents knowing about it, is repugnant to me.
As a parent myself, the last thing on earth I am letting my son read is HARRY POTTER -- there are hundreds of thousands of other books that are much better for his mind, and I will buy him all of those he cares to read.
HARRY POTTER, no way!
Finally, I am highly educated, and WHY wouldn't I make THAT a part of my writing? But, above and beyond everything, I wish to encourage your passionate writing, which you obviously believe in your point of view.
Rigorous debate IS healthy, and I want you to keep that up! Great job! Being passionate does not make you factually correct, but, you should keep it up just the same!!

Did you know that according to www.theforbiddenknowledge.com the number '22' is one of two "sacred primary occult numbers"? I must say that I'm surprised that you, of such notoriety and experience, failed to acknowledge such easily accessible information, and chose to end your list of evidence against the Harry Potter series at, coincidentally --- 22.
You probably aren't the only person to hold or publicly make the assumption the J.K.Rowling is a witch, and why you haven't been asked to remove said comment is because she, her publicists, and the rest of the sane and level-headed population don't find it
nearly as truthful, threatening, and detrimental as you'd like to think it is.
Let's just totally throw out the fact that throughout the series, good ultimately triumphs over bad, and love overwhelmingly conquers hate. Obviously those facts are insignificant because the author chose to throw in names and dates so blatantly steeped in the occult. It's funny that Mrs. Rowling could be so evil, yet write about something so good; must be very self-deprecating huh?
Congratulations on your extensive researches and numerous years spent being a journalist (or whichever writing profession you said you were in), but don't use that as reasoning to assert your certainty in this matter. There are scholars that would maintain that the Holocaust never happened and have people that've told them, too, they are indeed correct. Get the point?
I love how you state that people that enjoy Harry Potter only further your point by taking personal offense to what you've written. You've made an incredibly sweeping generalization about each and every HP fan that they are being immersed in the occult and are too reluctant to listen to the voice of reason (which would be you and every other person that truly believes that JKR and the series are evil) to see it; how do you NOT expect some people to take it personal?
I am so SICK of all the essays, blogs, websites, programming, lawsuits, etc., that write me (and by me, I mean myself and all the other fans of everything Harry Potter) as some poor sap blind to the realization of what the series is doing to our population. I can't enjoy the books for what they are without being a witch, or Wiccan. Because I chose to read the books multiple times (as I've done with every book I've ever liked), I'm obsessed with the occult, I'm immoral, or brainwashed. And let me just say, I find the belief of a possibility of what would have to be a serious mass brainwashing, in your opinion, as ludicrous and preposterous as the belief that magic and spells exist in the first place.
Greetings, Alexandria:
You say that:
"the belief that magic and spells exist ... [is] ludicrous and preposterous."
Well, I have some news for you -- these magickal traditions to which I refer in the article above, have been around since the times of Ancient Egypt and Ancient Babylon. Such practices would not have survived for literally thousands of years, if they did not work.
I have been studying the occult practices of the global elite since May 1980, which is a full twenty-seven years ago. It is my belief that this twenty-seven years of study does in fact make me a scholar, and it is with this scholarly research that enables me to speak with authority on these subjects.
Of course, I fully know and understand the occult significance of numbers -- but nowhere in the list of examples is there anyhing that relates to occult numerology -- thusly, I did not mention it.
I stopped my list at 22, because that was all the examples I had, and you should infer nothing else from that. You talk about me making "sweeping generalizations," which I have not done, and then, YOU go and attempt to infer something from the numbers from a list of examples.
Pardon me while I ask what in the hell are you talking about here?
The entire point of my writing the article is to point out that children who read these books are being indoctrinated into occult beliefs and practices. And it is not just with Harry Potter -- there are and have been a number of occultic television shows -- such as Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Sabrina The Teenage Witch, Angel, Charmed, and the newest one, HEX.
Our children are being indoctrinated into the occult through these media projects, which are seen as benign and harmless by most people who are clueless to the real agenda at play here.
They have a saying:
"Get 'em while they're young, and keep them for life!
This certainly applies here ...

I have come across this page by mere accident and found it an interesting read, although I do not deeply agree with all what is stated. Since I was 5, I had entered the world of fantasy and lived by reading fantasy stories or legends or playing fantasy-themed computer games. I am working on a fantasy series of my own and I can only say that, when doing that, the writer tends to do some research. I am not dismissing the number of coincidences from Harry Potter books, however, but I am still considering that some of your statements do not have a solid base.
Kids can't make the diffrence between fantasy/magic/occult/imagination and reality, it's a proven fact. Yet, I would rather have my 8 year old cousin point a stick at me and cast the killing curse than have him hit me with a frying pan as he saw on tv recently, or shoot me. If kids can't make the diffrence between those planes, they will later, and it will come to no harm. When I was younger, I used to play Starcraft and Warcraft and expected to see an orc launch at me from a corner and expected to see a protoss saying hi to me on the street. However, when I grew up, I learnt to make the diffrence between these planes. You cannot point at cases like a 15 year old shooting himself to death to prove he is undead or such, it all depends on the child.
I haven't read the Harry books 10 times over and over again, I've read them twice.. Once when they first appeared and second time last year, when I found them deeply dissatisfactory regarding fantasy terms. However, I found Lord of the Rings, Narnia, Eragon and other famous books that way also, exception for the Dragonlance series, which, by the way, are just as occult as Harry Potter, and they even deny the existance of only one god. If you try to find occult, you will find in EVERY fantasy book that is out there, simply cause people like myself and the writers of those series need to escape from everyday routine and find a world where good and love prevail. Perhaps Harry Potter isn't the best example, but there is no desperate need of pointing and finding conspiracies that mostly aren't even there. I know I perhaps am not the best person to talk about these things, especially to someone like you, who perhaps lives his every minute rooted into the real world like most people around, but, perhaps, if I am to write a fantasy book, will I be considered the servant of the Devil?
I cannot deny that Joanne isn't a witch, I can say I am not the white, innocent christian either, but I find no point in considering that the books had black magic that made them bestsellers or made kids read them over and over again. My favourite book as a child was Black Beauty for example, I think I read that book 20 times or more instead of reading something new simply because I enjoyed it so much. It's not a bad behaviour, everyone tends to have such obsessions.
I am also a lot into the occult, and I can say that most of the things you have classified as occult aren't by far to fall into that class. Perhaps I am wrong, I do not have 27 years of research, but I do not have horse blinders and I see the world in colors, not only black and white. It is not in my power to reccomend anything, I can only say that, you do have a point that there are too many coincidences going on, but others also have their own point with good prevailing, perhaps only a telepath could tell what exactly is Joanne's intention.
Until then... Just hoping the world will not become a worse place, for, however, the adults that commit crimes now and break the law and act how they act have never read Harry Potter... Rather have them hypnotized and think there is magic in the world than have them kill eachother for body pleasures and money.
Greetings, 'Windshade':
Thank you for your thoughtful, non-accusatory, comment. My point for having written this piece was because of my wife becoming obsessed with the novels, and this was a 38 year-old woman. When I saw THIS happen, I began to look into Harry Potter.
The one thing I do want to correct, is there are no conspiracies that I either bring up or mention in the piece which you are commenting upon. Everything I present is factual information, which was the product of painstaking research over the course of a couple of years.
As I have commented to other readers, I have no problem whatsoever with any ADULT choosing the paths of magick and the occult. That is THEIR DECISION -- and as an ADULT -- they are free to live how they want to live.
But, when a child, who is unable to tell the difference between reality and fantasy (this is a psychological FACT, by the way) becomes 'obsessed' with HARRY POTTER, then there is a real possibility of harm being done to that child.
After doing 27 years of research into these matters, I have come to the realization that NO ONE on this planet is allowed BIG SUCCESS without being a part of the globalist occult group which for convenience, some refer to as the Illuminati. They themselves do not refer to themselves as such, but, at least we know the type of people about which we speak when we use this term.
Joanne Rowling has become a BILLIONAIRE as an author, for the very first time in the history of the written word and published book. This alone is reason enough to wonder about this -- because this level of success is NOT ALLOWED unless that person joins the DARK SIDE.
In the late 1980's, I received a 'visit' at my own place of business, and was offered a chance to join forces with these people. They wanted my mental and communication skills to be useful to them.
When I REFUSED -- I quickly saw my commercial printing business collapse, as all my large, globalist accounts dropped me -- all within one month.
So, my writing is also based on my own personal experiences, as well.

This series of comments has been provocative.
First, I'll sum myself up as Potter books = great fun, safe message (love IS the most powerful magic)
I like reading the articles on your site because they give my mind something to chew on, different perspectives and filters for regarding the constant flow of information we all live with.
But back to the Potter topic and your many responses to the comments. What I'm getting is, you're saying there is occult messages there and reading them repeatedly is bad. Well, ok, but it's got me wondering then, what in this world DOESN'T count as an occult symbol or message, and/or what are the symbols/messages that would elevate our humanity and free our minds? Would it be a reality without symbols or messages? If we read any of your articles, the one clear thing is that what you've defined as occult has saturated and defined our cultures for millenia, so what human-created thing (or idea) counts as "pure" or at least anti-occult?
What I love about the Potter books is, unlike mass media and modern American culture, they show us how polarized thought does NOT lead to the truth. They show how being attached to being right does NOT create solutions. Every time you think you can make a judgement about a character or trust a piece of information - boom - another truth is born.
So this comment list forces me to ask myself if by trying to find the conspiracy in everything, am I getting any closer to the truth (whatever that is)? Aren't I just swinging to the other end of the spectrum of extremed (new word) ideals?
I'm asking because I've read the play of comment and response but it just seems to be going in circles, rather than spiraling into more of what it could be or could reveal (spirals being an occult symbol for.......something, surely.)
Here's a little paradoxical point - I think the Potter books are benevolent, for the complexities of good vs. evil that they show, if nothing else. But I am bothered by the plethora of other "magic" book series out there - just capitalizing on the topic but having no substance (the Bartemaius (sp?) trilogy comes to mind.) I've reread the Narnia and Little House series dozens of times in my life (I'm 36) and I feel that if anything, the richness of those worlds has kept my imagination lit in a reality that has steadity tried to destroy it. Every time I revisit those books, something new sparks and I become a "creator of my world" once more.
I'd like to read your thoughts on what would be our antidote to the inundation of occult conspiracites.
Greetings, Dawn:
Thank you for your thoughtful and well spoken comments. I have been quite impressed overall by the comments and feedback that people have had to this piece. This is my most commented upon Kentroversy Paper of all 450+ that I have written thus far.
My thoughts are not that Harry Potter is BAD for everyone. Adults can read and make judgments about that which they read, and have the capacity to do that, because they have developed that skill through their life experience.
I have said repeatedly that I have no problem whatsoever with any adult picking the occult path, if that is their decision. However, a child does not have the developed skill set with which to make decisions for themselves that will truly benefit them over their lifetime to come. This is why they have laws protecting children in this area.
It is a well-documented fact that our mass media has been used as a tool of propaganda and brainwashing. This is done in a gradual step-by-step basis, and for HOW this process works, please read my paper entitled THE MICROCHIP AGENDA.
It is also well established that these global control-freaks are all followers of black magick, and have been doing some very evil things to us. So, THEY would be interested in something just like HARRY POTTER if they wanted to indoctrinate an entire generation to occult principles.
So, my caution is simple:
Parents, please be aware of what your children are reading ...
Now, HOW do we avoid occultism, if we choose to go that route?
This is simple, as well ...
Refuse to participate. Warn others of the hidden agenda at work.
Joanne Rowling pretends to be this welfare mum who just so happened to write the most successful seven books in the history of the printed word and published book.
She is more than twice as wealthy as STEPHEN KING, who has published some 60 books or so -- and she did it with only six books!
These global control-freaks don't do anything by chance! There are ridiculous amounts of planning involved in everything they do.
Warmest Regards,
Kentroversy
